Radio darts was a big thing in the Falklands but "600kms" suggests not those islands.

Eta : Concordia Station, Antarctica?
OK what did I give away? Very interesting place.

All yours Sir.

Thank you sir.

The isolation and the small population indicated a research station somewhere "currently" v cold - it doesn't get much colder than winter in the Antarctic. Folks are a lot closer together in the Falklands.

A church in a city somewhere a bit warmer, the city is a previous holder of an unenviable title.

A lot of 'The West' was once Spanish.

Odd architecture, it looks to me more Portuguese colonial than Spanish.

Definitely Spanish. "Mission Revival" style and built in 1949.

I have looked at all of Central America and the Caribbean. Can't find the bugger church.

You got there eventually. :-bd

The unenviable title previously held by the city was "Murder capital of the world".

You have control, sah!!

unenviable title
Yep got that as well now: San Pedro Sula was the murder capital of the world until early 2016 when Caracas, Venezuela, surpassed its homicide rate.

Thanks 4M just do not know why I couldn't find it. Good challenge.

Don't think that this is an easy one but sticking to churches. Obviously UK. Nice pub right by the church.

Going to bed up 06.00Z
