Here we go. A fairly eazy one to start a Sunday.

Some unwelcome visitors unexpectedly turned up nearby.

I have searched the world. Now come on, be kind to us on your Ruby. Wales?

Not Wales, although there's a lot of flint in there.

Flint structures tend to prevail in Norfolk but I cannot place that building. I HAVE seen pictures of it though, but where?

Looks like a folly rather than a regular house.

Could they be Hogwarts house symbols?

Not in the UK. Not a folly, it's a museum. The sculptures on the corners are not Hogwarts house symbols, they're more cherubic symbols rather than magical.

Think about the unwelcome visitors suddenly turning up and taking over the place.

The latter, but not all were Nazis.

Mainland Europe.

I’ve googled all the places subject to German invasion during the last bout of nastiness (except Fffffrance ‘cos they were expecting it!) and have come up empty handed. For an “easy” one this bugger is hard!

Poland or Czechoslovakia are the most likely candidates methinks.

I had heard about the 'underground village' and that it was guarded by winged animals etc.

I think I am probably right to let's try this one that should be very easy..

In the spirit of SHWOE I need the name of the pub! There is more than one hotel in the picture so I want the name of the big one!

John , you have it. Aka the Musee de Silax (The Museum of Flint). It's near the site of the Eben-Emael fort which the Germans took in a surprise raid during WWII.

Your controls.

I don't think we have an answer to #2353 yet?

How about a clue to 2353?
Looks semi tropical, possible Moorish/Islamic influence.
