It can't be Barnard Castle - there's no sign of Mr Cummings!

The best thing about Barnard Castle is the Bowes Museum.

As a small provincial private collection it ranks with the countries best.

Even an uneducated erk like me was impressed a Canaletto when he saw it.

As an engineer, I was impressed by the mechanical swan.

If memory serves, I think it's Santorini.

I thought we'd stick with the airport theme. The location is fairly obvious I imagine, and despite the covering of snow, there is an airfield underneath, but which one?

Apologies - it appears to have come out in a smaller form than I expected. However, it does perhaps give a better perspective of the area.

Russia or former USSR?

Apologies.

We are in a major Russian city at a previously used airfield. The airfield has now been closed and built on, but was very important in its' day.
