Spot on, John. The bridge off which the then senator drove his car killed his chances of ever being president of US. The airport was featured in the popular television series "Wings" and is one of three airports or strips on the island, which is Martha's Vineyard. It was also the intended destination of another ill-starred Kennedy. It lies fairly close by Nantucket Island. Until relatively recently, it was regularly served by PBA which flew DC-3s.

You're up Sir.

OH if you please. It is Sunday morning here with quite pleasant weather although we may see uncomfortable heat this afternoon.

I probably won't look in again tonight so if anyone has a positive ID on this, then play on.

Neither of the above. Both answers are many thousands of miles wrong.

No. Time for a clue?
It's a pleasant 20 minute stroll from an excellent aviation museum.

Would it be the Allianz Arena in Munich?
That seems to be within walking distance of the Deutsches Museum Flugwerft Schleissheim.

I can see the similarity, but no, however you are geographically much closer than the other tries.

20 minutes through a park.

One of the best aviation museums I have been to.
Well found. Not easy as all those modern stadia look the same.

Thanks Cape. It was mention of an excellent aviation museum which prompted me to have a look around Krakow. A couple of years ago I visited the city but the aviation museum was closed on Mondays, our only 'free' day. :(

Nope. Go west and then down a fair bit. The beach is tidy.
