"Not enough information Capes to decide to whom you are referring"
You're clearly not a Monty Python fan. Nor am I but they did do some memorable sketches and I have quoted from one of them.

The architect of the building was Austrian and studied at the Vienna Institute of Technology in the 1880's but did not actually graduate. He was one of the principal founding fathers of the philosophical movement based in the building.

Ah Capes, presumably you refer to the philosophers football match. The writer in question was not involved in that sketch. As I said, perhaps Devilishly difficult to find.

Goethe is the one.

Getting difficult to find pointers to give you, perhaps it would help if I tell you the location is in a country which shares borders with both Germany and Austria.

The Goetheanum, located in Dornach (near Basel), Switzerland, is the world center for the anthroposophical movement. The building was designed by Rudolf Steiner and named after Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. It includes two performance halls (1500 seats), gallery and lecture spaces, a library, a bookstore, and administrative spaces for the Anthroposophical Society.

That's the one om. My first pic was of the boiler house (Heizhaus) servicing the location. All yours.

Anywhere that serves anything cold and wet in this heat looks welcoming, even a Greene King. No idea which one it is, have looked at a few.

Another excellent guess. Right hemisphere, wrong continent.

If Kiwiland isn't a continent - too small, then is it incontinent?
