Is it the statue of James Taylor (tea producer) in Auchenblae?

Thank you sir.

In line with my previous two offerings, a fortress overlooking the confluence of two rivers.

I was looking at Greece - wrong.

OH OK, I am going to leave the pub sign in as it is a bit blurred but a big clue. A very traditional country English pub.

I think the clue you left is a bit obvious, I've been there anyway, so I'll leave it someone else who won't cheat as I did by looking it up to confirm!

That was quick. It is fair enough guys fight it out amongst yourselves. One of my old locals. Also a certain PM, Beckhams, that woman and her husband HRH PH.

On a Sunday you couldn't move in there.

OK Om15 I think that we will all agree that you have the wicket. It is not actually Chipping Norton it is Great Tew but comes under the Chippy post code. We lived 10 miles away and still came under the same post code. Quite ridiculous.

All yours Sir and do indeed take your bike in that direction sometime, very nice village and pub.

Now we haven't visited an ironmongers for some time, few old fossils in there.

The fossil clue led me to the Jurassic Coast, so it's Arthur Fordham's shop at 67 Broad Street, Lyme Regis.

Very swiftly found by C16, I used to have my haircut upstairs by a young lady that registered 9 on the Slashometer scale, bought grout in the shop below, well found, C16 to spin the wheel.

Back to pubs...and I suspect one person on here will get this in an instant. Back in the 60's it literally had sawdust on the floor of the one bar and the Ploughman's Lunches were to die for with about half a pound of cheddar. The loo used to be outside and the full length of the building away from the bar and had "Y'ere tis" in large letters on the outside wall. How it has changed!

I will pass on this one, it is more of a restaurant than a pub these days, still serves Badger though.

I thought om15 would know this as it's in his territory - not the end of the world that he's passed on it though.

I'm going to have to call time on this one as I'm out for the rest of the day. 4m told me in a PM that I somehow failed to see the pub name was hidden in the tree! It's the World's End at Almer on the A31 between Poole and Dorchester. It dates back to the 14th century but was rebuilt after a fire in 1991.

The baton is available to be picked up......

This pub is about half a mile from The Botany Bay ( another Hall and Wodehouse pub) on the A31. It was midway between these two pubs that the berk in an Alfa Romeo came into my lane on an overtake and ripped off the off side pannier from the Yamaha a few months back, perhaps he had been in the Worlds End, who knows.
