I see what you mean about the building beyond but it never was a station. Funnily enough as it happens according to GE the tunnel carrying the Eurostar line from St Pancras to Kent is about 25 meters directly underneath this location.

It's in Oxford. I think it's a copy of the Ponte de los Sospiros (Bridge of Sighs) in Venice.

My dear chap. Said it was easy. 8 mins. Walked under there many times.

All yours Sir.

The Alpingishus (Parliament House of Iceland), located in the centre of Reykjavic, houses the Icelandic parliament (Alþingi).

Well if OM 15 is correct which he usually is, not much use for solar panels there, just a gesture.

om15 is correct. Solar panels useful for 6 months of the year, useless for 6!
The first time I went to Iceland, anyone could just walk in there and sit in the public gallery.
Well done om, YHC.

Not UK, not really a tourist destination, a small working regional airport.
The local town is famous for it's annual music festival which has just finished.

Not there Ex A, northern Europe, the nearest big city is a tourist destination with many attractions. Beer is expensive.

Bit further south.
GA and business jets, however has a military Merlin for S&R and lately this Airport has been the departure airport of troops deploying to or returning from overseas locations, primarily Afghanistan, due to its more private and secluded atmosphere, compared to the nearby far busier international airport.
