Shouldn't you be doing some work this morning.

Yes, TRG is making a comeback and hits the jack pot twice this morning, Fishguard it is, it has a ferry port and lots of pubs, that's where I go for foreign holidays.

TRG on the crease.

My level of interest peaked at around 8am, I'm on the decline work wise.

Any guesses on where this rather mundane "sculpture" is?

My first thought was Midlands, which led me to Ashby de la Zouch, which I think is where this rather strange offering is.

Looks very Coronation Street-ish, but I can't find it., my guess is Manchester, maybe Stockport?

Stockport is a rough area!

You can say that again, I've seen the painted ladies roaming in packs.

It is indeed Hazel Grove (or Bullock Smithy) - my home town!
It's a sculpture outside Sainsburys - It was supposed to represent growth of the town and Hazel Tree's... In reality it looks like a big old Whale carcass with a really sh*tty back drop!

It has been suggested that this thread be renamed "The Capetonian WOE thread" as he was a regular contributor here. I'm quite happy with the suggestion. I will lock this thread so the next contributor can add to this new thread.
