One of the many definitions of "a gentleman" is "someone who can play an accordion but doesn't"
Accordions invoke very different reactions in different people tis true... =))

"going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an accordion."

Exactly 72 hours to go until Mr Panic arrives. ^#(^

Meanwhile back in Botswana...

and in the Francophone parts of Africa the excitement at the Panic's arrival is palpable too!

There was a Scot who won £6666 on the recorded show "The Chase" on ITV just now. When asked what he was going to spend the money on, he said he was going to Botswana in a few weeks.

Does Mr Panic go by the name of Hamish perchance....or can't you possibly say?!

Tonights "The Chase" on ITV obviously recently recorded, featured a Scotsman named Hamish as a contestant, who is shortly off to Botswana.

Shirley not?

SNAP!

Well, that's two viewers the show had C16 :YMAPPLAUSE:

C16 and Ibbie, nope he is a Neil. That sum would not cover our guest's costs anyway. Their 3 nights in camp is about 4,000 quid plus 1st class BA LHR-JNB return although a number of air miles are involved.

51 hrs until impact MUB. Mr Panic is probably at this very moment in time lying sedated on a stretcher in an ambulance on his way to Newcastle airport with his nursie wife by his side monitoring his pulse.

Have you briefed him that BA use both B747's and A380's on that route?

And that they are slightly different?

I am sure that his wife will make sure he gets on the right jet. Don't think they will want him to fly it. Still no panic e-mail this morning. Amazing.

Edit, No he is 'just about organised'
Just checked in and got the boarding passes for the BA flights. Will do the SA Airlink flight tomorrow when we are at Heathrow. We are staying at the airport hotel tonight and travelling down (or should it be up) to Newcastle this afternoon. Meeting a friend in town for a couple of beers. So just about organised.

His wife has probably sedated him with 25 mg of diazepam! =))

No was the answer. But very windy there and our vagrant is in a tent. Or maybe not now, just on the ground.

Has the Eagle Landed? Are the sirens wailing.? Does death and panic stalk the land?. Are the War Pigs flying...?

Mr Panic has breakfasted on Bloody Marys in the lounge at NCL. Just about to board for LHR. Then all afternoon in the Concorde Lounge, get pissed and hopefully sleep all the way to JNB. That is his plan.

So all hatches battened, hippos and chairs, tied down, whisky decanted and staff aligned in time for the Panics' arrival then.

Salaam Ex-A, may peace be upon your estate...

Aircraft inbound to NCL had a lightening strike. No seats on other flights to LHR. I am sure it just requires a check over. I have had a couple. Told him to consider the train he has allowed hours of spare panic time before departure LHR.
