Early yesterday morning we drove back down from a delightful two day visit to some very dear friends in Upper Deeside. As usual, the car radio was on. Lovely quality sound on that thing.

The Meiklour Hedge has particular meaning for us and in an odd way is associated with a particular song from the late 1960s. A couple of times, albeit in many hundreds of times I've driven past it, that song came on the radio just as I drove past the Hedge. I think I've uploaded that one here before, so I'll not do it again.

Instead, there was a new ABBA song. We pulled over in the layby to listen to it in a place which resonates with memories for us. I'd never heard the song before, so I can't explain why I got dust in my eye. Same thing happened to the co-pilot.

The two As of ABBA do have a knack of singing in beautiful harmony together. Here they are, doing it again.

I suspect that whichever one of us survives the other will add this piece to the funeral music of the first of us to pop clogs. There will be tears.
