I did know that damn it. He played with my friend Mark, a sax (as opposed to SACS) man I knew back in my UCT "daze"... I am going senile at the tender age of 59... ;)))

I am part of a SA musical e-mail group, all of them grumpy buggers like us (me). I would be honoured if I could add you to that one. The head honcho is an ex SADF Navy man and now 70 year old lawyer who lives just a couple of clicks down the road from you. Let me know if you would care to join us.... I think it works Cpt_Pugwash, although what Dave Brubeck, or even The Stranglers, might think (have thought) of the melange is anybody's guess.
