To really appreciate him, you need to listen to the whole of the Jan 16th 1938 Carnegie Hall Concert.

Krupa drove the orchestra all that night. And then did Sing Sing Sing as a finale.

Seeing as tomorrow is the 83rd anniversary I might just listen to it all. Again.
It has been a long time since I listened to it all, just pick and choose these digital days.
