Nowadays there are pianos in the concourses of many bus and a few railway stations in the UK. Many performances are crap. Some are good. One or two are quite magical.

I didn't see this one, but I'd happily have tossed a twenty note into his/her placcie bucket.

I read Toni Tennille's memoir, and things between her and 'the Captain' weren't nearly as peachy as this hopeful song might have had us believe (recommended - Toni Tennille: A Memoir).

It's not a song but it is a soundtrack. I recently discovered that Johnny Cash recorded the New Testament in it's entirety and it's on the Tube. A splendid voice and well worth listening to. If God came from the US Midwest that's what he'd sound like, I'm sure.
