Haven't been to shops yet, and she has to drive as I'm banned for a week while the stents bed in, so I have no idea what the menu will be. Last night, I made a damn fine chicken chow mein, and am planning a cottage pie for tomorrow. There's some cavolo nero to accompany.

Never mind tea. Lunch today was fish and chips in a very light batter. Fish was cod from Lidl and excellent. Mrs OFSO added a few large Gambas, also battered. Lots of vinegar and salt, sod the health warnings, only once a week.

It is in Nigel Slaters 30 minute cook book; if you can't find it I will quite happily send you the recipe by PM or email. :)

By the way, the croquettes cooked in the air fryer were superb! :-bd

Fish tonight, but I haven't been to the fishmonger yet, so can't be more specific.

Spinach and ricotta canneloni and the remnants of a chilled lemon flan that Madame fettled the other day. It really is the lemoniest lemon flan in the universe. And a glass of umbrian red to go with the main.
It's cold out here in deepest Morayshire.

Having investigated the fridge, and in the full and certain knowledge that today is "light eggy Thursday" before her yoga class, I find I have some cooked ham, mushrooms, and a nice bit of gorgonzola. She can have a poached egg on toast, I'm heading for a mega omelette.

The Galactic Ruleress is away for the night on a school reunion. She dislikes liver. So, tonight I dined on lamb’s Liver, bacon, fried onions and mushroom sauce. To die for!
