Meatballs in a standard tomato sauce with a touch of Harissa in it. Gluten free penne.

That looks like a nifty contraption Woody! :)
Only had it a couple of days, but all good so far :)

Corned beef, simmering away in a pot with cloves, peppercorns, bay leaves, slices of orange, carrots, onion & celery.

To be had with cabbage simmered in milk, boiled carrots & Potato..... A new England Boiled Dinner I suppose...

The best thing about a corned beef?, next day, corned beef fritters, learnt from my Gran Mother as a war time staple...

Corned beef fritters tonight. With Rosemary roasted potatoes, and a side of Brussel sprouts parbolied and then sauteed with onion & bacon. I know, Con-Pilot would have been horified!... :)

I imagine that I would find sautéed sprouts more acceptable than simple boiled sprouts.
The bitterness would be shrouded by the flavour of the onion and bacon.

Yes, indeed

But Corn beef fritters with Tomato sauce, simple war ration food really...but something so enjoyable about its simplicity.

Two huge (in all three dimensions) T-bone steaks left over from yesterday's barbie.

Guess what we're having for Sunday dindins.

Accompanied, inter alia, by **** humongous mushrooms. Mutant things they are. I just hope that the WHO doesn't give their particular mutation a Greek letter.

We have some leftovers from MrsP's roast chook with lemon and tarragon. A risotto or orzotto will be fettled this evening.

Roast chook, stuffed with breadcrumb, bacon, minced onion, mixed herbs, lemon zest. I stood the chook in a deep disposable tray atop 4 very think lemon slices and pour a bottle of white wine into the tray, chook sitting up out of it, but steaming in it, and basted with it, and a gravy to be made from it...

Roast Potato, Carrot & Onion, with sauteed spinach :) .

Leftover lamb curry tonight. MrsP suggested a green curry, so coriander and spinach featured big time. I threw in some waxy potatoes and MrsP made a raita to have with it. Really rather tasty. Mango chutney and basmati rice on the side.

Magnusdottir#2 found some boerwors in Aldi so that will feature in a day or two.

I haven't been that far down Campbell street for 30 years!...Dunno why an Itie restaurant is called Roy's or why it is by Gemelli....who or what are Gemelli? Current 'Trendy' restaurant I believe....Anyway I shall be good and not say what I really think and behave myself and will be first time since I've seen the SIL for Months, since last I 'offended' her anyway....

I think it is actually a family name, it seems this is their third restaurant they have opened.....'Lotsa' Italian immigrants here from waay back, so Italian is great, but, it's been around forever now....and not hard to cook at home in any case.

Saturday Lunch will be here at the Bistro...suspect it will be sharing the garlic prawns, calamari & a Lobster Thermidor....

https://seascape.com.au/

22 year wedding anniversary ya know!....at that we have more fun now over a long boozy lunch than a romantic dinner.....I am certain a walk on the beach & body surf will precede lunch before heading home to get ready for lunch.... :)
