Can't face tea. A late 3pm lunch, pork steaks with apple slices, sprouts and bacon stir-fry and dauphinoise potatoes followed by cream coconut tart. Collapse of stout party.

SM gorra Nigella cook book from the Charity Shop for 25c (retail £26) and I'm going to try a Chicken Thigh concoction.
Never done a Nigella recipe so we will see.

Got a couple of nice haddock. Will reserve some for Magnusgranddottir in a mornay sauce, but fry ours in panko crumbs, chips & peas on the side.

Going to thumb my nose at the tree hugging vegans and have a thick juicy rump steak.

Heavy thunderstorms and a torrential downpour every five minutes here, accompanying tartlets and tea with Cousin Tracey from next door.

Do vegans who hug trees not realise that their uninvited contact puts them firmly in the Weinstein camp? Perverted barstewards.

As reported on TRABB by Ex-Ascot we are having salmon fish cakes for lunch. I only mention this as this is the first time that I will attempt to cook them in the Air fryer. Hope it works. :YMPRAY:

We were going to have beef curry, done in the slow cooker.

Then we got a 90 minute power outage.

Beef curry tomorrow!

Something short order tonight.

Concur, amazing. 'er has been making them for years and frying them in oil. They pick up a lot of the oil. This technique you spray them with oil and bung them in the air fryer. Amazing. Really neat bit of kit. I think that given the cost of getting the air fryer here each fish cake was only about £80 not including ingredients. Round two for lunch today after a few beers up at the safari camp.

Just had a thought. Thank God the bastards didn't steal the air fryer.

Wodders, if you had two cleaning ladies, would you be condescending to show them the way?

Bungit pie.

Bung the leftovers from the Sunday roast in the slow cooker. Bung in carrots, onion, garlic, oyster sauce, peas, sweetcorn and anything else you need rid of.

Leave in slow cooker for a few hours.

Bung in pie dish.

Cover with pastry. Bung in oven for about 30 mins.

Serve with creamy, buttery potato mash.

SWMBO has yet to return from her "ladies'" lunch in a curry house. 17.08 now. I suspect I'll be raiding the freezer.
