Oh, and marinara sauce is thought to be named after the marinai, or Italian sailors. Often wondered about that, so asked an Italian friend.

Leftover Chicken, Leek, and Potato soup, there is about 1.5 ltr of it and it's thick and scrummy.
We may not eat it all.

Granddottir (2yo) was told she was coming to see us today. "Good", she said, "white soup!". She is inordinately fond of my cream of celeriac soup. Rather nice to know I'm appreciated for something.

At the request of SM, I have just downloaded a recipe book from Robertsons Spices.

On perusing the same, I am quite taken by Oxtail Pie with Phyllo Pastry and Toasted Almonds!

Now into a sales pitch to get the cook to do it!

Doesn't have to be complicated. Prepared a pile of vegies to go into Air Fryer - sweet potato, butternut pumpkin, carrots and potatoes. Average size about 1.5 cm sq. Briefly dipped into EVOO and placed in fryer cage using slotted spoon to enable them to drain. Cooked for 25 mins at 180 degc. Turned occasionally. Placed into bowl whilst still very hot, alternating with layers of goats milk feta cheese. And eaten with great gusto. Followed by big burp. Yummy :x

Have a plan for coming gently back to eating well and clean.

Take care. Best wishes.

...Guess what tonight is? ..... yep....I'll have made 3 days tomorrow...still deciding whether to go on or not.

Found some magnesium tablets at the health food store to aid sleep tonight....best thing is they have Kava in them! (Piper methysticum) Sure has helped me sleep in Vanuatu, hopefully enough in these tablets to make me sleep as well! :)

But I suspect over the counter Kava from a health food shop in Australia........would be weaker than an LNP politician around Chinese money!

Baked salmon fillets with chilli, spring onion, a little bit ginger and lime. Basmati for the carbs.

Edit: Buggrit. Fish shop still closed for holidays, and I don't like supermarket fish. New plan required.

Ha!, broke today with an undressed salad & a beer...followed by a glass of Semillion Sauvignon Blanc with some cheese...that's all clean eating (i.e. no processed bread or manufactured meat or margarines or chemically enhanced 'Lo-Fat' items etc)

I'll settle on this a while and think if I'll have dinner or not...

The Wine is good! :) :) :) ....but going straight to my head now...ha ha
