Dinner is salad and cold cuts which Jasper delivers every night to my room when I'm out till late doing sims. Me precious moonshine is the only comfort.

M'lady is arriving Friday and I have to meet her rigorous standard as an acceptable bed partner fatwise. Asians can be real fussy! 🙄

Curry was delish. Had the leftovers for lunch today. Tonight is panko-coated haddock & chips. Apparently, I've to make moussaka for tomorrow. Haven't made that for 30 years. I'll try not to panic. :)

Edit: there's a Greek pastry shop round the corner, so I should be able to put up a decent dessert at least.

There will be fine dining for me and the missus tonight at a posh seafood joint recommended by some destructors. :) 🐟

In the absence of SWMBO, the dog & I enjoyed rare kangaroo steaks, caramelised onions, fried egg and tomato. Lurvely.

Just been into the kitchen to see chef. Scoffing for the day worked out. Lamb chops with mint sauce, frog fries and tomato salad for lunch. Fasolakia for din dins. Green bean casserole for those not in the know.

A little known secret is that Swiss food is amongst the best in the world. It beats frog muck hands down.
I am spending a few days in ZRH. The Swiss may not be warm and cuddly but they are polite, honest, efficient, friendly, and clean and have a decency which is sadly lacking in most other places.

I am looking forward to lunch in the mountains and a good dinner this evening.

Just cooked a batch of sweet corn fritters - quick, tasty & simple. About to do the rest of the mix and pop into the refrigerator for lunch tomorrow.

I made a meatloaf on Wednesday, SM found the recipe in a magazine.
It was colonial so there was all that mucking about turning cups into measurements the rest of the world uses, and there would have been so much of it the mind boggles.
I used half quantities and it did our meal, two more lumps remain, one for tonight and a lunch probably on Monday and the other, same size is locked away in the freezer.
Any that is tonight, warmed up Meatloaf, Creamed potatoes, and Round Green Beans, Gravy.

I worked for a company based in Southern Germany. We used to tour around the countryside trying to find an Inn with poor food - and never succeeded.

SM decided to get adventures today. She did a sort of Bouillabaisse, from SA ingredients.

It was a success, but next time, more garlic and olives o:-) o:-)

It looked good as well:
