Welcome Hydro.
How did you get in?

PP
Double vaxed, PCR test at airport, attestation on check in. LAX wasn't the usual hell on earth, more like a gentle purgatory. No customs, baggage transfer simple and TSA quick and almost polite.
Only disappointment is that there's no whit Christmas here, but it's a pleasant, sunny 6 deg C here. Great to catch up with D1 & her family while Mrs Hydro spend a couple of weeks with D2. First time in 52 years that we haven't spent Christmas together, but we'll probably survive.
If anyone here flies out of Boulder you may know D1. she's the girl with the rainbow hair.

Just had Christmas lunch of bison gyozas, 'light' lunch as we're going for a walk. Main Christmas dinner will be tonight, a lamb roast. No doubt I shall overeat and have lurid dreams tonight.

Looking in the fridge, it looks like it's gonna be goose sandwiches tomorrow. We're gonna have to scoff that stuff before it starts honking.

I wanna get ripped into the pheasants now.

Red?

Please forgive my Norwegianness, but I think you'll find that I'm right.

We have a nose for these things, y'know.

The dog is the waste disposal unit.

Rare roast lamb, green beans, potatoes in a cheese sauce and gravy on top. I knew once, for about two minutes, what the wine was, but other than a cabernet sauvignon, I've now forgotten.

Keto Cheddar- Jalapeno Cornbread in the oven. :-bd
The keto aspect is achieved by substituting baby corn (low sugar content) and coconut flour (low carb) for corn meal.

"Friday's fish" so lunch today is a small salmon-tail fillet baked with a touch of honey-mustard and dill; with onion, red & green pepper, broccoli, celery and flaked almonds all sautéed in a little coconut oil.
A very few flakes of Maldon salt added.

^ I used to have one or two Michael Franks albums.
Very distinctive voice, nice music to have lunch with.
