Am converting leftovers from last night's pork roast to a Filipino pork adobo, a favourite of the sproglettes.

One approves of making a tasty meal out of leftovers as our parents used to do.

Leftover roast pork tonight with stovies and gravy. Last night (when I made the roast) I added some sage. Served it with spuds and red cabbage into which I'd chopped some dried apple. Very tasty.

Vegetarian goulash served with new potatoes; unfortunately the tatties are from Spar as the francolins keep on eating the ones we are growing. ~X(

'Special' biryani at the local Indian in the marketplace - the village is having a Food and Drink Festival so the 'special' is a one-off.
The restaurant was full with people waiting for seats.
The briyani was excellent and reasonably (discounted) priced.

Tonight we are going to enjoy the advantages of having a grill in our new oven. :)

Din dins will be brown bread toasted with a topping of fresh tomato and mature cheddar cheese. Or in other words cheese on toast. :D

Yummy! :) (*)
