Also a tactical failure by Mercedes.. Had they pitted as well they would have had better tyres.

I thought the team's principals were in the ear of the race director far too many times during the course of the race. The RD is there to oversee the safety of the race not listen to a driver's/team's whinge about so-and-so doing such-and-such; drivers' obedience of the rules and track discipline is for the stewards to deal with. Perhaps it was because Woolff and Horner couldn't keep their gobs shut and were constantly chirping in his ear, that the RD was distracted to the extent of screwing up - I'm not apologising for his strange interpretation of the rules but he did have to remind Horner that he was trying to sort out the Latifi crash.
It's always my fault - SWMBO

Hamilton has nothing to prove. He is a giant in the pantheon of F1 Gods. Verstappen is the son of a violent wife beater, who used to beat his son too and who fractured the skull of one of his son's carting opponents back in the day. This is what we are dealing with here folks! It is on record, check it out! My Amsterdam based girlfriend set me right on Joss "the Boss!"

Team Principles should not be allowed to contact the Race Director during a race, unless it is a safety matter. I believe Joss Verstappen has done time in Holland for violence.

There is no doubt that Max has demonstrated his ability to achieve the role of World Champion, and it was just a matter of time before he achieved that status, so he 'deserved the honour'.

It seems that Lewis and his entourage have behaved honourably in congratulating Verstappen and his accolades.

I read that as being in the present tense.
That's why I asked.

She noticed her hair in the bed.. women are acute to that kind of thing... and understand hate in a way that a man might never...

I am happy that she forgave me and we are still together... I am a very lucky bloke all told...

FORMULA 1 NEWS
"Wolff says Andretti will need to prove worth to join F1

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff believes Andretti Global will need to show it has the resources to join Formula 1, saying a new team would require $1bn in order to run competitively in the sport."

Could Wolff be in a little fear of the USA's spreading interest in F1?I have no doubt that Andretti will be able to find the resources.

Let's see how the Mazepins sidestep the inevitable questions about Russia.

Now I know it's only day two and I know little can be learnt for testing as programs and weights and what they are testing. But right now I'd say it looks better for McLaren and Ferrari.

I accept that's when we know for certain but I and the chaps from Autosport expect some quicker times mañana to give an idea where work is needed over the next two weeks.

What is becoming evident is that some of the cars are experiencing porpoising which is a real problem especially in a high speed sweep which could result in a Senna like crash.

In previous years they resolved the problem by having active suspension that kept the car at the same height above ground but in terms of the rules today active suspension not allowed.

They also used floating side skirts that ran on teflon skids on the track surface. This is also not allowed in the current rules.
