Decision should've been taken last week.

Although some freight would've already been on the way.

Obvious when considered but the hidden bits of the teams are setting up, wiring etc in Bahrain and Vietnam already although the "Motor Homes" travel after each race I believe.

Many of the fans had already arrived at the circuit (having travelled halfway across the World) and were corralled together before being told of the cancellation.

With at least 14 of the Mclaren team in 14 day quarantine, it is difficult to see how they can compete at the next race.
Even if McLaren can replace those affected, what about the possible knock-on to other team members during the 14 days?

Bahrain and Vietnam GPs 'off'.

Will drivers (and other staff) get their normal pay?

Many years ago, when football matches were cancelled, there was a 'Pools Panel', who met and decided what the result would have been.
In these days of simulations, they could 'run' the missing GPs and maintain the points tally.

Any team that can't field an '11' should be deducted 3 points!

Arguably Britain's greatest driver.

RIP.

There is a very interesting documentary on Netflix called Williams and it is about the life of Sir Frank Williams which I enjoyed watching. It shows a human side of F1 and it is well worth a watch.

Just read Vettel's comments on the BBC site. What a load of balcony. Can't admit that he is unable to control his temper when driving.

Most of this generation of drivers are a bunch of loud-mouthed vulgar primadonne spoilt brats. I have lost interest. The only one I can think of with a vestige of decency is Damon Hill, inherited from his father.

In my day they were gentlemen, Jim Clark, Graham Hill, Stirling Moss and others.

At the risk of sounding like my father who used to rue the motor racing scene in the 1970's, "winged advertising hoardings", he used to call the cars, I must now admit that my pleasure in F1 is much diminished. Santised, corporatised and brattified, it lacks the sense of danger and the characters that made my enjoyment back in the 70's and even 80's complete. It is all so ball achingly boring, safe and homogenized these days...
