They appear to have made it through the first corner.

It is becoming apparent what marriage has done to SV :))

Just watched the first Formula E race of the weekend from Templehof in Berlin. Fascinating and only 0.02 of a second between 1 and second at the end.

I could become a fan.

Max Gunther BMW first in Berlin followed Robin Frijnz Envision Virgin, Jean Eric Vergne in the Techeetah car in 3rd ...
A few years ago, I went to Monte Carlo for the day whilst en vacances in the Cote d'Azur. I wasn't aware that there was a Formula E race taking place and of course half the place was inaccessible. I did manage to see some of it from a distance and was quite impressed. I've seen it a couple of times on TV and it's great asset (to me at least), is that it's much more amenable to being run on street circuits than it's big brother.

+1

From what I have seen on TV. I look forward to attending a race when it is possible.

Will those from the UK have to quarantine when they return to UK?

G-OFOM is flying back and forth daily, or more frequently. Nice life for some.

At least Alonso's 2020 Indy 500 has got off to a much more positive start ending up 5th fastest on the first practice day.

Hamilton's complained about the heat. Barcelona + August. Always heat, unless it's pouring with rain. Which it might be tomorrow, with storms around.

Rain will boost Hamilton's chances, he's one of the better wet-weather drivers.

AEMET is guessing 95% for tomorrow afternoon, solves the tyre dilemma too.

Rain still showing for this afternoon, as it has most days along the Pyranees, although never arrived for us. Question is how far south will it extend. Currently symbols for storms and rain are not over the track.

Formula 1 is in deep trouble when the race is one big tyre management exercise and the most exiting thing that happens all day is how many places are gained or lost at the start.

On another subject I noted that Alonso was languishing on position 26 of the Indy 500 grid when I last looked yesterday.
