Almost brand new Phillips Air Fryer for sale. Mistaken purchase on recommendation of some dodgy characters on a website. Offers?
Sisemen don't give up on the air fryer, as with anything new it's worth experimenting with different recipes which abound on the www. For the chips we followed the recipe in the Philips booklet and they are excellent. For the fish cakes the other day I used my usual recipe and then found a suitable guide to cooking them in the air fryer using good old giggle. The fish cakes turned out much better than conventional frying. :)

It was the same with the bread maker, a few dodgy loaves but now I can produce very nice bread and cakes thanks to a bit of trial and error.

As regards the air fryer it has turned out to be well worth the huge expense of importing it into Bots. :-bd

At the end of the day an OC Admin needs instructions in triplicate, filed in the correct stupid place and cross referenced with copies sent to every section with requests for action to be taken. A pilot just plugs the f....ing thing in. :-h

And if that don't work a techie makes it so. For that is our remit in life.

Whereas, in admin, one does a rigorous cost-benefit appraisal following the pilot approach. And then, and only then, uses the engineer’s approach by .....hitting it with a feckin great hammer.

Then buy one anyway, and then try to recover funds expended by selling it. Sounds just about right for Admin types.

C class stores as far as I’m concerned! The Galactic Ruleress wants rid! There’ll probably be some lucky shopper at the Op Shop in a short while!

I’ve joined the airfryers owners club, Robert Dyas selling Salter model for £39.99, thought that it’s got to be worth a punt, will report back soon :-bd
When all else fails, read the instructions.

For the proper experience you need to wait several weeks before using it.

In ZA for the next couple of weeks, so should be ok.

Wish I had a tenner for every bit of kitchen cr*p Mrs PN has collected. OTOH every item in my garage was carefully chosen to fulfil a need.

Admittedly I have several pliers, tin snips, screw drivers, a hammer and even a shovel that I didn't chose - combat rules, if a tradesman leaves it behind it is MINE.

Mrs OFSO tells me that before use, Air Fryers have to be freighted to a Greek Island (any one, take your choice) sent from there to any Swiss city ending in -wil, sent by UPI to an African nation (not Nigeria) and then sent by sea back to the UK. Apparently this 'tempers' the fan bearings and reduces brinnelling.
