Songs for the Bogon
As the fires burn early and the best of men drink and sniff petrol and life's misery continues, I wonder what the Western wisdom in these matters really is...
Sisemen, Slasher?
I spelled it Bogon because the Aussies, just like Trump and the Russians, don't have the balls...

OK. I'll rise to the bait seeing as GG seems to have divined my character from a few posts on here.
The YouTube clip was one of the most beautiful performances that I've ever heard. Mind you, being in possession of quite a few recordings of Gurrumul's work and having seen a performance I'm well acquainted with his stuff. A bright shining light of talent that was extinguished far too soon.
Neither do I have a problem with aboriginals per se. I've had some close contact with desert aboriginals working on stations and those people are the salt of the earth. Their culture and traditions are mind-blowing. Having said that, the ones that migrate into towns (because it's handy for Centrelink) and the much diluted "aboriginals" cause problems. An encampment outside Kalgoorlie has been in the news the last couple of days because of a drunken killing where the perp has fled the scene. It has shone a spotlight on the Council provided encampment where the buggers can't even be bothered to pick up their litter and detritus. Every so often a "concerned" European TV crew descends on places like this and the commentators then give the white fella a good kicking for letting the aboriginals live in those conditions!
So, now you know a little more about me GG are you willing to be as judgemental?

You Aussies!
I thought that this song might soften Sisemen's hard Anglo/Australian heart..
What would Ned Kelly think?

Having traveled to the planet UBOGAN (10 Parsecs from the centre of the United Bogona Empire) and sat with their physicists all I can say is shame on you sir.
My attempt to delight them with this song failed too mind!

Yeah mate, I love his stuff (Kev I mean), but Kev is basically a white Aussie bogan and not nearly as good as this American one who I have met and drunk heavily with...

Garret is a first class twat who got completely out of his depth in politics and sold out on all his alleged principles. Succumbed to flattery by Krudd.

A bit like Bonio (the dog food merchant) er I meant Bono (of U2 fame) I will be bound!
Feck musicians who take themselves too seriously. Not quite as bad as politicians, but almost!

Re: Songs for the Bogon
I thought Dildohead was all about taxpayers coughing up money and freebies to the boongs. The dick entered politics after my time, but yes I do recall seeing somewhere he succumbed after having his knob verbally polished by the Krudd. He was also bought off IIRC.
