One has been a "Dudeist Priest" for may years and performed many weddings:

"Religion is the advertising campaign for a product that doesn't exist."

The late Clive James.
I guess he's found out whether he was correct by now.

Lack of belief in an organised religion does not preclude existence after death.

Did mine back in 2001, but had to get a re-print. I married about 450 couples as an "ordained minister of the cloth.... see video below of one I did years ago......

Being a Dudeness Priest must not be confused with the other lot, Judas Priest, who pray at the number 11 on the amp of the God of Heavy Metal...

Yep, I lived and flew on Kauai for 7 years.

I got in with the wedding coordinators and performed marriage ceremonies on my days off. There is an average of 17 weddings per day on the Island, most of them destination weddings with few if any guests. I would earn $165 per wedding and would do 3 per day---normally in the afternoon. I did have to get licensed by the State of Hawaii in addition to being "ordained", it being a tourist destination everyone wants their cut of the money. I still do ceremonies to this day but mostly just for friends etc now, and only charge a bottle of vodka and an invite to the reception for the food... B-) B-)

Hot off the press!

SCMP Wed 04: - The Chief Executive of Hong Kong Carrie Lam (Cheng Yuet-ngor) this morning has hailed TheGreenGoblin’s certification as a Dudeist by The Latter Day Dudeists as a victory for common sense and the future of the Territory as a whole.

Speaking to journalists at a hastily organised press conference, Ms Lam reaffirmed the very confidence she and parliament has in Mr Goblin’s membership. “Together we can move forward with him at our side. It is a new day in Hong Kong!” she announced.

A Protester movement spokesman also hailed Mr Goblin’s new certification as “a step in the right direction” - while homely street protestor and professional window smasher Lee Li Lo said the Goblin’s message should be spread around the world.

SCMP spoke briefly via Skype hookup at Mr Goblin’s unassuming home in England. He said he has been humbled that the Territory is inviting him to Hong Kong. “I will have my work cut out for me sorting the complex issues befuddling Hong Kong I will be bound, but my message of ‘Chill out dude!” will apply equally across the (Chinese) border” he added.

Of note he also stated he will have a local nominee acting as his advisor, whom he described as a ‘shine-addicted Aussie’. He did not go into further detail.

Beijing gave late indication it might be willing to work with Mr Goblin after the tariff issue with the US is over. It is understood Mr Goblin is interested in resolving the South China Sea issue by having civilian helicopter training facilities to be built on certain islands. “Eggbeating is a great way to bring peoples together and simply chill out” he was quoted as saying.

At close of press statement neither the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson nor USA President Donald J Trump have made any comment./quote]

The Goblin is truly humbled by Ms Lam's approbation and Captain Slasher's support. He feels his missionary calling, not to say position, might indeed be in China, in the land of chicken chow mein. To this end he has spent the evening watching The Inn of the Sixth Happiness and channeling his inner Gladys Aylward while not neglecting his readdressal of the wisdom of brother Shamus and all the time feeling the calm of his inner slacker and practicing dropping the f bomb and finding his inner man by working for the 2 f*cks per minute ratio and beating eggs for peace in the South China Sea while also heeding Fox3's sage advice.
