Will be interested in the answer, having done it more than a dozen times.

I can see that most of them do not, given the great circle route between North America and Asia tends to follow the curve of the land, and there are probably way more of those than the ones down to Australia that would cut across the middle (and presumably South America to Asia flights are at lower volume too).

I'm with Hydro here...He obviously out of Sydney, and for me, Brisbane. But I get the Northern routes for sure.

Not the answer I was expecting, I was expecting a different answer, but can see why you thought it might be SAA. Tigers are not indigenous to ZA although there are some on 'farms' where they are bred to be killed by 'hunters'.

Do you want the airline or the reason they choose this livery?

I don't know the reasons they chose the livery but the country of origin does have indigenous tigers. I came across the picture purely by chance and thought it was rather striking. So, the airline!

I remember this, because I had dealings with the airline that painted it. Transaero of Russia I believe and I think it's supposed to be a Siberian Tiger.

Just to confirm that you are of course both correct. I thought it was rather lovely.
It's an Amur (Siberian) Tiger.
Transaero became Rossiya, or v.v. I forget which way round.

In the memory of Mike please let us keep this running. It was an excellent idea of his.

Which meat is used in Glamorgan sausages?
