How many species of hippo are there, what are they commonly called and where do you find them?

Bonus point for the number of sub species for one of the main species. :D

OK there are two species, we have the most common here and they are one of the five sub- species that exist in Africa. :D

So, what species are our hippos, and what is the other main species?

Bonus point, apart from Africa, where else apart from in a zoo will you find wild hippos? :D :D

OK, here's a random one. It surprised me when I looked it up once: what's the melting point of sodium metal?

From elementary chemistry in school in the highlands, boiling water seemed to do it. The headmaster had some odd ideas for the 1950s, he showed us how to make gun cotton(don't know what it's called nowadays,if it even exists). Why? God knows.

Wasn't that the forerunner of Cordite?
