As today is Super Bowl Sunday (A near National Holiday here):

SUPER BOWL LVIII

When was SUPER BOWL I?
Who played?
Who won?
Bonus: Where did it take place?

Amazed to find it's as recent as 1967

Green Bay Packers beat Kansas City Chiefs 35 - 10 in LA

The only Superbowl that wasn't a sell-out

Now I do know that Vince Lombardi was the winning coach of the first Super Bowl, because they have named the trophy after him.

Who is in the chair?
'Yes, Madam, I am drunk, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly.' Sir Winston Churchill.

Oh, sorry

What was Britain's first daily newspaper and when was it first published?

The London Gazette, which I thought, as it was the answer to a pub quiz a few years back.

I looked it up on google, to check, and apparently, it was originally The Oxford Gazette, first published in 1665.

It became The London Gazette and was first published as such in 1666.

In fact, I may be wrong.

I didn't add daily to the query and there is a possible different answer, someone else can have a go.

First Daily Newspaper

I have copies of the London Chronicle (July 7, 1767) and the Morning Advertiser (February 8, 1794). My father gave them to me. They make very interesting reading. Just checked, the MA is the first edition.

What is a ticketed judge.

No, I don't mean one who has been speeding!!

It came up in a detective story I am currently reading.

New one on me

Is it a judge who has form for partiality on certain issues e.g. never convicts a bent cop?

Sorry for the delay, much to do today.

No to Opsboi but "certain issues" could be construed as a clue.

Llondel, probably no, as it is, I think, specific to the English legal system (possibly including those countries that follow it).

Tell me more about why you suggest Clarence Thomas.
