Its 14c out there. Going up to 21c this afternoon.

Another blue sky day. Reminds me of a holiday I took with Blue Sky Holidays to Costa Brava, many years ago. Flights MAN to GIR and return on British Midland BAC1-11s, fresh out of their boxes.

Annual review/consult over tellingbone with hematologist re iron level in blood this afternoon.
That's a tough one

Is the answer Fanny Craddock?

What was the historical occasion for a member of the British Royal Family uttering:

"Pray fetch me a brandy. I am not well"
I think it was George the 4th when he met his future wife. I seem to recall that they ended up divorced/dissolved marriage.

Indeed, when he met Caroline of Brunswick. She was equally unimpressed!

OK the boss has given me no input but I think very early. Maybe from a balloon. Maybe 1800.

Honest there was no cheating there. Mrs Ex-Ascot told me after I had posted. A bloody frog. Pity it worked.

OK following the theme. The first helicopter flight?

No earlier RiS. He stayed airborne for 20 secs and got to one foot.

Would you call that a hop?

Not the greatest Q if I may there were several attempts I read and Sikorsky's 1930 attempt was the first useful performer.
I know I've posted dubious questions too.

In what year did the first taxis with meters start operating in London?
