Sorta cheated by looking here to see all current Championship teams, and thinking who has a long history, I'll have a punt at Sheffield Wednesday, and they might have just been called 'Wednesday' then.

The Boro were relegated from Division 1, with Liverpool at the end of 1953-4 and were founder members of the Premier League.
