fliegenmong - is that flying mong or mongrel?

The point I was trying to make by posting photos of a few of your home grown murderers is that no country has a monopoly of bad boys and girls, after your frantic anti-Kiwi/SA diatribes. We read these stories in the papers all the time (just now especially in the era of Fakebook and other outlets for the easily-influenced), which allow poor souls to be influenced by bad, often exaggerated reports written by oafs just out of school which are designed to sell the paper and back up the owners' nationalist or whatever agendas. It's quite alright to form one's own opinion and judge the real truth behind a lot of this media crap.

I flew with an Aussie about 20 years ago - a large beer bellied, bellicose individual who liked to hold the floor - and I asked him how he enjoyed flying back in Oz. It was great he replied, "apart from those Kiwis trying to steal our jobs. Vermin, the lot of them, f*cking vermin." Seems to sum it up really.

Now not a booze comparison thread any more so I really will stay out of it now.

I do have to wonder how long these terrible Kiwi criminals have lived in Australia? Have they just arrived or been in Aus all of their adult lives? Just where did they learn their antisocial ways?

BTW it was a Skippy Nutter that shot up the mosque in Christchurch.

Shall we leave this here, as it has really gone off topic, and agree to disagree perhaps?

Best wishes.

And to you Cape! ... I was never here to fight with people, maybe it was just a rather blunt and overly genaralised observation perhaps. Yes Rhodesians of course!, Chap across the road was from Salisbury

Just where did they learn their antisocial ways?

Well, If you''re asking John, I'd hazard a guess from their antisocial Cuzzy Bros...

Just accidentally bought some non-alcoholic wheat beer Speedy - must wear my glasses in the cool room next time. Thought I would gag but it wasn't too bad and I stayed awake after dinner. Will give the wine a go but the last lot I tasted really was awful.

Yes, there are some -just- acceptable tasting non-alcoholic beers coming along, taken a long time. Best I've ever remembered was that West Aus., Perth, brewery ( name ? ) that produced one for sale in Saudi Arabia, but not seen it around for many a year.

Had a bottle of non-alc. Bubbly recently, made in NZ and acceptable for the occasion. It didn't pretend to be wine, labelled Non-alcoholic Grape Juice. Honest at least.

Why bother ? Came out of the Bistro attached to a pub recently, where we'd had a meal and ONE beer, straight into the arms of a Police check point. The Hofficer said I was right on the limit and let me go, but he was being kind, I caught a quick glimpse of the gadget, which was just over the line. On the limit ? After 1 beer with a meal ? World's Gone Mad.

Yes - the cops are pretty active on booze check points down here too. Sad to say the 'assimilation' or whatever it's called of alcohol decreases with age, or so my wife keeps telling me. I must try some of that non-alcoholic grape juice...

The cops have moved one of the their helicopters down from Auckland on a 'trial', but I suspect they think there may be trouble from the established biker gangs as the Mongol mob try and get themselves set up in Christchurch. They've already nabbed some moron who lasered the aircraft - hopefully he'll be able to reflect on his stupidity during a long spell inside.

Bikies in NZ? Just when I thought it would all be good wine, good rugby and sensible people!

The Aussie contagion has clearly moved south of Auckland! ;)))
