Residents banned from meeting people they don't live with in homes or gardens - but can still go to the pub
Very subtle there. The problem of increased infection is amongst the non alcohol imbibing members of the community. English speaking socially distancing Christians remain to congregate in the pub.

I think the UK guvmint decision on the eve of Eid is a wonderful non - racist decision. In Wilmslow we had an Asian family at the end of the close, they converted the double garage for more accommodation, and on Eid literally hundreds rolled up for the party.
They did not understand when I F###ed them off my drive parking their Mercs.

Are you saying not in a real good way there Ex-Ascot?
Don't 100% understand what you mean but no, public medical facilities are crap. Some very good private doctors but no decent hospitals. You have to go to Johannesburg for a decent private hospital.

Well done Wodders. Yes the timing of this shut down is excellent. But let us face it are these morons going to stick to.the rules at their rag head bashes.

Some Iman in one of the lockdown areas was whinging about it being introduced right before Eidh, claiming it wouldn't have happened if it was Christmas Eve - obviously trying to bring the religious discrimination angle into the interview. The reporter didn't have the balls to tell him that Christians didn't have the chance to celebrate Easter because of lockdown.

Eid Mubarak to all our Moozlamic readers.

I have yet another case of Mac30 to celebrate/inebriate with. :YMPARTY:
My very good Saudi chum (I haven't got many of them!) sends me a case each Eid (there are two per lunar year, y'know).

4ma, and Christmas was all but cancelled this time for us. We were all Covid sick even if it wasn't. The symptoms were the same and though we had turkey we blamed Tesco for a crap bird when really we had no sense of smell or taste.

OFSO, you had antigen tests too. How long between you being ill and being tested? AFAIK they don't know how long you might have the traces.

Too many people here flaming the UK government's decisions because they don't suit 'em.
Same thing happening in Victoria. The government's being blamed because security guards were 'fraternising' with their charges who were supposed to be in isolation. No mention of blaming the effwits who ignored their isolation orders or the guards who didn't do their job.

We had the plague in late February. Active and antibody tests in April and May. All negative. Head of Clinic refuses to believe test results.

They do not look Welsh therefore they are not islanders and so not Maoris. So easy really.

I don't know why I rise to the bait John,..but for what it's worth...

Now my question to you..do they look like they are 'from here'?...clue (Where they reside, in the Islander slums)..

I live with this everyday John, our local communities suffer through this crime wave John, I think I shall no longer engage with you as you are unable to accept that even if these criminals were born here they are of islander heritage, you know it as well!....They are a big problem John....

Here are some more fine lovely upstanding members of the NZ ex-pat community..

^ Brenton Tarrant. Point being, every country has its bad eggs.

Meanwhile, no masks available in supermarket, in fact most of the store seemed understocked yesterday, gaps in frozen foods freezers, people still keeping their distance at checkouts.
Had my Lotto tickets scanned, bought 'em March 21st. - one free ticket, no cash prize, it's the thrill, you know ;)))

Personally I don't give a damn where these two tw*ts are from - as Karearea says every country has its bad eggs and the mass murderer who is coming up for sentencing here is a good example of that. They look like typical products of the 'Me Too' social media generation - posing for 'selfies' with their fat arses, stupid clown make up and enhanced rubber lips. I think they should be dealt with harshly to set an example to others of their kind that it's not 'all about them' - there are very serious issues at stake here which bimbos like this don't seem to be concerned about - like the older generations who will die as a result of their actions. Just wait for the outcry when it's one of their own on the mortuary slab though.

Insert 'enhanced' between 'fat' and 'arses'. We can't help the way we are born but afterwards...

Bugger, bugger - Aberdeen is in lockdown again - pubs and restaurants closed from 1700 for at least 7 days due to a sudden 54 new cases of Covid-19 that relate to licensed premises. No travel to/from the city apart from work or education.

Mrs C16 and I were just getting ready to go for lunch at the local farm shop cafe - our first trip out together since late March - but have decided against it. We are only 18 miles from Aberdeen in the middle of commuter land. Too close for an ex-shielder like me. Having a Cornish pasty and a beer at home instead.

Major Stress ~X(
Daughter #2 started (virtual) school today.
They have given all of the students Chromebooks to use and the classes are being taught through Google Classroom. They have to be on the computer at the same time, i.e., regular class times. The only good news is that 2 of the classes are self paced (on line) vs. face to face.
The stress was the fact that they changed her schedule about 4 times in the last 2 days and had her in classes she had not signed up for. She doesn't handle stuff like that very well and took it out on me. :((
Yes, I know, if stuff like this gets her easily upset the real world is going to eat her alive. :-o
Pray for me and my patience. :-s
