Wow, what an evocative piece of film, and also amazing how heavy the traffic was even then!

Paris in the spring in the age of the flapper, boulevadiers, and the insouciant.

Thoroughly enjoyed that Karearea. Thanks for posting.

Why Does Nobody Care About Pre War Cars? (1934 Humber 12 Drive) [8:46]
All classic, rare and interesting cars are soaring in value lately, with the exception of pre-war cars, which remain almost unbelievably cheap. So why are they so unloved, why don't people care about pre-war cars? Phil and Joe took a drive in a delightful 1930s Humber to find out!...

Kenneth Williams is trending on Twitter, so I think that it’s a good idea to share this clip :D

When all else fails, read the instructions.

Woody; Kenneth Williams would have to have had one of the best lines ever;

'Oh infamy infamy! They've all got it in for me!" =)) =))

You didn't need to post that clip, Woody. It's burned into my personal memory bank. Along with the gorgeous Fenells Fielding, saying "mind if I smoke ? "

More good films like Only the Brave, the cinematic story of the loss of 19 fire fighters from the Granite Mountain Hotshots firefighting team Not your typical Hollywood kind of film, with a pretty grim ending but it has a certain reality to it, not least because it is based upon a sad reality.

Very interesting video on Pluto Karearea.

Slightly less cerebral but historically interesting.
