I reckon even a LIghtning pilot should be able to pick that one out of the large number of tankers on the tow-line. =))

I always thought of the Hawker Hunter as the 'prettiest' a/c I worked on.

It definitely looked right.

£900,000 (and the rest) spent to appease one man's huge ego while reducing the number of the RAF's operational aircraft... there is no way that that aircraft could be used in serious operational scenarios with the baboon arse paint scheme.
Which accounts for the picture released yesterday of two F35 taking fuel from it:

"Nigger one closing for two raspberry ripples please"

617 Sqn operates the F35
I feel truly embarrassed for the crew and can imagine what our enemies might think about the vibrant colour scheme if it ever ever came to war. That aircraft would immediately need to be repainted lest it stand out and be targeted specifically.

Oh well so it goes in this clown car regime!

Personally I have no problem with the raspberry riple though personally I would have gone for understated elegance. I wonder if they consulted the owner before painting it

Just because it is Mam as in jam there was not reason to make it look like jam.
