SAA, Eskom, and now the SABC.
SABC are retrenching 1000 staff and have admitted that they only have funds to keep going for another couple of months.
It is sad that these SEO's have been plundered by the thieves of the ANC and so badly run that ZA faces becoming a country that has no national airline, broadcaster, or power generating entity.

They could have their power generated by the ffrench and Germans and a National Airline run by the Spanish
When all else fails, read the instructions.

That sounds like the beginning of one of those jokes about the difference between heaven and hell!

They are doing Ok. TIme to take anything useful out of the hands of the ANC in fact, before they screw it all up.

Another bone of contention..
Malusi Gigaba, who resigned as home affairs minister, deleted his Twitter account soon after the Presidency announced on Tuesday afternoon that the embattled 47-year-old politician had submitted a letter of resignation to President Cyril Ramaphosa which he accepted.
Gigaba, a member of the ruling African National Congress (ANC), said in his letter of resignation that he was stepping aside for the sake of "our country and the movement", and also to relieve Ramaphosa from "undue" pressure and allow him to focus on doing his job.
Gigaba has been under immense pressure since a video of him performing a sexual act on himself was leaked on social media, allegedly by people who tried to extort R10 million from him when he was finance minister last year.
The ANC MP was also facing mounting pressure from Parliament to explain how he had granted permission to the Oppenheimer's Fireblade Aviation to run a private terminal at OR Tambo International Airport.
This is after the Constitutional Court upheld the North Gauteng High Court's ruling that Gigaba had lied under oath after the tried to challenge the Public Protector's report on the Fireblade contract.
On Twitter, hashtag Malusi Gigaba was trending number one after news broke that Gigaba had resigned. Social media users started searching for his account and noticed that it did not exist anymore, meaning that he had deleted it.
Gigaba last week apologised on Twitter after mocking fellow Member of Parliament, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, by making a gesture with his pinkie finger to suggest that Ndlozi had a smaller manhood during a heated question and answer session when Ndlozi suggested that President Cyril Ramaphosa buys feature phones with no cameras for his executive.
The former minister also tried to sue veteran radio and TV personality, Redi Thlabi, a couple of months ago after she accused him on Twitter of being one of the architects of State capture by allowing the Gupta family to manipulate him into making decisions favourable to them when he was minister of public enterprises.
Redi also said Gigaba had negatively affected the tourism industry with his disastrous visa regime when he started out as minister of home affairs.

I would laugh if it wasn't all so depressing.
No I am going to laugh!

Leaving his John Thomas aside, the man's insane visa requirements rate truly high in the pantheon of idiocy, resulting in enormous losses to the tourist industry! Homo erectus or homo nincompoopus?

What a nice guy John Robbie is...
His trenchant comments on that anal fistula Jeffrey Archer are trenchant and brought a big smile to my dial.

Re: Staggering Out Over The Abyss
How sad .... Oh well, never mind. He now knows what fear for safety is like for white South Africans who feel that their properties may be invaded and stolen from by thugs motivated by Malema.
EFF leader Julius Malema fears for the safety of his wife Mantwa and his children after his address was posted on Twitter.
Jacques Pauw tweeted the address of the house his wife is renting from cigarette smuggler Adriano Mazzotti. Pauw later removed the tweet with Malema's address. The colour, make and model of Mantwa's luxury vehicle was also made public.
At a press briefing at Parliament on Tuesday after the National Assembly adopted the Joint Constitutional Review Committee's report recommending that the Constitution be amended to allow expropriation without compensation, Malema said "many strange cars" has been spotted around the house.
Malema said he brought the matter to the police, but he will not negotiate when his wife and children are concerned.
"I shoot to kill," he warned.
On Tuesday, the South African National Editors' Forum (Sanef) condemned the publishing Malema's home address.
This followed the publication of Eyewitness News' report that Malema's wife and children live in a house owned by Mazzotti. Malema denied that his wife had any business dealings with Mazzotti and said she rents the house from Mazzotti. He said Mantwa is an "an independent woman" who is "educated ... with her own wealth".
Malema added: "She is in finance, not in history, not that there is anything wrong with history."

Nothing! In fact he has enough dirt on so many people that were in the circle that are still in places of authority across so many areas that he will end up being paid I suspect.Woody wrote: ↑Thu Dec 13, 2018 10:21 amHow much does the team think that he’ll pay?
