We went for my 40th. Fantastic place but 50% of the water was jelly fish BIG ones. Pavarotti opened it. OM15 in the chair.

That is unfair. How did OM15 know you were there last Sunday. In future please keep us informed of your whereabouts so we don't post photos of your house or summat. :-w

It is indeed, Sir Edward Elgar, he is at the end of the High Street Worcester, and is facing the Cathederal. About 100 mtrs behind him is where his father had a music shop, long since gone though.

With due Pomp and Circumstance, Wodrick on the conductors rostrum

Surprised that the statue is still standing. Bet some idiot can find that his great, great grandfather owned a toilet brush bought from a crewman on a slave ship.

My very favorite piece of music.

It has been quiet for too long. Always like to post places I have been to. This place many times.

Agree - particularly at the Cenotaph.

The photo looks like the far side of the Moon - Aden perhaps? ;)))

Nice rendition FD2. Yes I agree it is not a very good satellite shot. Let us try a photo. No not the moon or Aden.
