My first thought is Australian gulf coast, but may be the other side.

If not, US, atlantic side.

Westish suggests Gulf of Mexico.

Googling suggests it could be in Biloxi, Mississippi but I am not sure of the name.

Perhaps the Grand Biloxi?

OH, if correct.

Louisiana is close. Biloxi is closer. It IS the Gulf of Mexico.

Have been looking on Apple maps and there is a building in Dunedin, just to the north of Clearwater, which could fit the bill.

Will try and ascertain what it is.

Edgewater Park marina?

Not totally a sad case but it has been peeing with rain all day.

I was bored after completing, and submitting, my UK 21/22 tax return.

OH if correct.

Just. wow!!!

My Mom and Dad retired here, living at Edgewater Arms, across the marina from the Bon Apetite restaurant on the far (north) dock. It is in Dunedin, Florida.

Photo from a rental C-152 out of Clearwater airport, nearby.

Very well done!!

My reasoning.

Mississipi - magnolia state but east of there, Lousiana to west.

New York - empire state and many New Yorkers retire to Florida.

West facing - look along coast for somewhere with an outer, broken, ribbon of land.

Find a spot where there is a small island between coast and ribbon, near an inlet.

First place working north from Naples, that fitted, was near Clearwater.

Try and find a building wih a double square roof on the satellite map - I am an avid jigsaw doer so shape matters.

The roof stands out like a sore thumb.

Took about an hour and it was still raining!!

Open House.

It has gone a bit quiet. I don't think that I have been here but give this a bash.

If it's topical, is it Kigali? Just guessing.

It was a bit of a give away but it wasn't moving. Woody is in the chair with Rossian very close behind him.

Rossian probably should have a go, as at least he spelt it correctly :D

Didn't notice that. OK very sporting Woody. Rossian in the chair.

In a similar fashion I don't have soundtrack or a playlist which isolates me a lot. I can never understand where TGG gets all those videos he posts, 99% of which I've never heard of. Makes me a sad old git I suppose.

Yes. Over a half century ago tho.

If I had used (or owned) a telephoto lens, the distant wharf would show a colony of seals.
