Talma, you are in the correct country ...but not Faro.
FD2, you are very close...but not Alvor (nice restaurants there, fresh herring a speciality!), you need to move a few miles south west.

It felt familiar to me as well and yes, it has been posted before but quite some time ago......

Mr Google tells me that there is a general aviation airport near Lagos.
Your clue suggests it may be this.
OH, if correct.

Re: The Capetonian WOE Thread
Talma, Mr Google is correct on this occasion, it is indeed the small airfield at Lagos. The buildings in the background are apartments on the ridge between the main road, the N125 and the coast.
Talmacapt is cleared for take-off.

Yup. 'Bout 85 miles from here, taken day before yesterday. The wires are in the Mississippi River, one of the reasons why the entire city is without power. And why we have a refugee here.

Bit of a delay. Give this a bash, pub sign a clue but a bit blurred. We used to sit at a table in the middle window every Sunday lunchtime. Great spare ribs.

The Bishop's Mitre
The Abbot's Mitre
but I cannot find any that match!
