Some of them also turned up in northern Newfoundland. I was treated like a long lost cousin when I went there, and as best we could figure I probably was!

Despite some diligent searching, I confess that I am completely lost with this one. Time for a clue, perhaps?

Hmmm That might be salt and not snow or the surf.

Yes indeedy... I knew this one would throw people off. My stepkids went to many a concert there.

Saltair-2002-exterior-MCB (1).jpg
The first Saltair, completed in 1893, was jointly owned by a corporation associated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Salt Lake & Los Angeles Railway, which was constructed for the express purpose of serving the resort. Saltair was not the first resort built on the shores of the Great Salt Lake, but was the most successful ever built. A stunning example of early 20th century Moorish Revival architecture, the resort was designed by well-known Utah architect Richard K.A. Kletting and rested on over 2,000 posts and pilings, many of which remain and still are visible over 110 years later.

Saltair

You’re correct with England, but nowhere near Liverpool. It’s generally recognised as the oldest ground in the world that’s been in continuous use by one club, since 1871 according to records.

I guess it's somewhere on one of the LHR flightpaths

Not Brentford, but maybe Kent - Blackheath?

Opsboi is correct, Maidenhead United’s York Road ground, which has been their home since 1871.
