No - very cold Rossian - though you might crash on Corsica on the way! Nelson got it on with Lady Hamilton to the south east of this place.

PHXPhlyer - yes, the 'Little Corporal' from Corsica had a rest on Elba before getting bored and setting off to conquer Europe again, at the start of the 'Hundred Days'.

You have control.

Well I know it is in Penzanze from my days on Nimrods at St. Mawgan, but no clue who he is......
Think miners' safety lamps.
Finally back from Thailand trip----Sir Humphrey Davy---had to look that one up.

OK, no it isn't anywhere near there, that was guess based on the origin of the symbol on the side. It's the Elephant Gate at the Carlsberg Brewery in Copenhagen.

Our ships visited Copenhagen in 1967 and nearly all the cadets went to visit the brewery. Carlsberg and Tuborg tastings after the lecture were excellent. Sadly I've now lost the little enamel elephant lapel badge.
