No, not that far east. It is not far above sea level though...

That landscape and the sky looks extraordinarily like NZ, Taieri Plains near Dunedin, fwiw.

Re: The Capetonian WOE Thread
There appears to be airfield type buildings on the left of the picture. Near sea level? Are we looking at the former RAF Sealand?

Re: The Capetonian WOE Thread
As an ex-Sealand apprentice, I can confirm that it is not that establishment.
However, the general area is correct, the buildings you spotted are much more recent than those of 30MU (as was).

Re: The Capetonian WOE Thread
Yes, Smeagol, very much so.
The photo is taken looking along the B5129 at one of the barriers used to close the road when A380 wings were being moved from the Broughton Airbus factory (behind the trees on the left) down to the loading point for the barge ( Afon Dyfrdwy ) on the River Dee via the road on the right. All finished now though.
YHC.

Thank you 4m.
Don't think we have had a largely underground building before. Where and what is this structure?

Re: The Capetonian WOE Thread
Karearea has it.
It is indeed the Waterloo museum complex, I took the photo a couple of years ago when on a golf trip to Belgium, staying in Waterloo.
It is an annual trip 16 of us make in October to a continental location, the favourite being Le Touquet , but also include Bruges and Arras. Unfortunately 2020 was a no go!
OH has been declared.
