Not Southampton.

G~Man says pirate, you say 'Black', so maybe it's Cap'n Pugwash's Black Pig?

I still think it's the Kop, mind

It’s the Black Pearl, after the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, but unfortunately it’s not going to be rebuilt this year after being destroyed over the winter.

Sorry for the delay been busy fitting new venetian blinds in the conservatory when not on the golf course!
Fox3 is absolutely correct it is the Egyptian House in Pz. It is now owned by the Landmark Trust and the upper floors are holiday accommodation. Nice place to stay as the Union Hotel is conveniently directly opposite. I held my wedding reception there some 49 years ago!

Fox3 has the helm.

It's an escapee from a Grand Designs programme, innit.

It is indeed of that ilk. There is a larger main building in the same style close by.

And, as per Grand Designs Standard, it was ridiculously expensive to build with ruinous maintenance costs.

It's part of an hotel, where a 2 week stay will cost more than my house.
