It's the Martin Connolly Causeway in Galway, leading to Mutton Island. Named after the former Mayor of Galway who died in 2006.

As for what's on the island, it's an important roosting area for over 1,000 birds at any one time, including oystercatcher, bar-tailed godwit, curlew, dunlin, turnstone, snipe, brent geese, swans, herons, cormorants, great-crested grebe and red-breasted merganser.

I hate oystercatchers - we get two pairs here roughly every February and they have perfected toss bombing huge amounts of their poo all over our windows! Also get a couple of pairs of curlews in summer, quite rare birds.

OH please if confirmed.

The ex-mayor was called Mutton Island?

But isn't it a long way to Tipperary?
Not from this place.

Going to bed.

Sorry C16 missed your post. You are in the sewage treatment plant and had control but O/H declared.

Yes, I thought it might be a bit of an obvious clue.

You get to look for the next one.

Ex-A has the controls, this is where Boris allegedly went on his allowed daily exercise at the weekend.
