McCloud River

First I have heard of this river and Wikipedia mentions the Upper McCloud as a popular kayaking river.
I kayaked all over the Sierras from the Yuba watershed all the way south to the Toloume and most everything in between.
Also spent time as a whitewater rafting guide on the Stanislaus, when it was runnable before the New Melones dam was built.
Unfortunately, I didn't get that far north before I left to kayak all ove Idaho and eventually settled there for a decade.

Hohenwerfen Castle in Austria but that came from the file name, when I tried to expand the photo for clues. I can't take any credit for that, so suggest OH Opsboi?

That's its real name

How do we best know it?

I would call it Hohenwerfen Castle. An Austrian might call it Burg Hohenwerfen?

A concentrated soft fruit drink when we were kids - still made in Ireland by Coca-Cola.

Was a brand of Tomato Sauce here:

also tinned spaghetti I believe.

Correct - and where were you most likely to drink it?

That took some finding....."Broadsword calling Danny Boy"...."Where Eagles Dare" was filmed at that castle. Still have no idea about the Kia-Ora connection though.

I only ever saw Kia-Ora in cinemas as a kid

You have control, it plays the Schloss Adler in the movie

I think it's FD2's turn as he identified the castle not me?

Well, the Schloss Adler was what I had in mind when I looked for the pic

I identified the castle but not as the Schloss Adler from the film. My memory isn't good enough to remember what we had at the cinema so that Kia-Ora didn't help me! It's one of the best war films of all time though. We have some friends staying from the UK at the moment so I'm about to get a telling off for being on the PC so may I suggest that C16 takes it, as he did guess what you wanted from the photo?
