Yes, I thought that it was more than a coincidence, but despite a fairly wide knowledge of the Caribbean, I couldn't relate it to any specific island. Then I remembered 'Bekway' in St Vincent and the Grenadines, so how about Bequia?

Yes indeedy. It is the Whale Boner bar and restaurant in Bequia. I sailed there in 2015.

But it may be a France outre-mer territory, non?

Many years ago, mid 70s or so, Dan Air sent a 727 -100 strike busting for Air Inter, we were based in Nice. While tempus has fugit this looks vaguely familar.

So Nice in the bottom of France ?

Ah, oui monsieur Wodders. That is correct. It's the top end of the harbour where the more genteel craft rest and there are lots of restaurants. The ferry area is to the left and around the corner.

(I'm not sure the Nicoise would take kindly to being called the bottom of France though! :) )

I think the gnomes might be a red herring - he takes them flying with him....from one of his posts....

The Gnomes, Timothy & Tabitha, go everywhere with me. Them being in the picture is incidental.

Yes, but I think it needs nailing down to an island, there are thousands of them.
