Evening all.
Just back from Sunday eveing TDARC 2m net, and spotted that familiar building. Looks very like Eastwood building at the University of Bath.
Then again, a lot of the 60's university architecture looks the same.

It is a university, it is not UEA and it is not the Eastwood building at Bath.

Ah, my error, it must be Norwood House, I only spent three years there, so easy mistake to make!

Yes, it is Norwood House, which is why I was careful with the wording.

I spent four years at Bath, but it's changed quite a bit since the 80s, all sorts of extra buildings and a sports stadium have appeared.

Morning all.
Yes, llondel, many changes at the Claverton Down site. I was there from 1977 to 1980 (Building 4E, Elec. Eng), now the old Arts Barn and Sports Pavilion have been demolished and replaced with much bigger facilities. Still expanding, two large cranes there ATM. I still get over there occasionally, as both my daughter and her husband work there.

Nothing ready, so back to OH.

I used to regularly visit this regional airport.

I thought 4E was the ME building. EE is in 2E. Or did they move between 1980 and 1982 (which is when I arrived)?

Not South America, the actual airfield is in the centre of the picture, it may help to click on the photo for a full screen image, you can make out aircraft types if you do that. Civil and military aircraft.
Due to the location and proximity of the city the airport ceased operations in June 2019.

Having been supplied the lat and long, I've found it on Giggle, but it doesn't seem to have a name!

We are looking north from Tel Aviv and Dov Airport is at the centre of the photo. This used to be used for small military aircraft and helicopters, turbo props of Arkia and GA business jets. The civil stuff has moved to Ben Gurion airport. I used to go down there several times a year to carry out C of A surveys on based business jets, I always enjoyed my night stops in Tel Aviv.

Open house perhaps.

Is this what the former President Trump might call a target?

I think that we are in Ryomyong New Town, Pyongyang.
