Correct - just the Duke of Kent and the Duke of Gloucester remain.
The Duke of Kent's mother was a Greek Princess. So was probably related to PP

She was a fascinating, if somewhat eccentric lady, who became a Greek Orthodox nun, didn't she? I am blithering about the D of E's mother of course, so ignore me!
Wiki reveals all of course:
His mother, Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark, was the daughter of Prince Nicholas of Greece and Denmark and Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna of Russia.
But it is the present Dutchess of Kent who has the superior pedigree, her dad was Captain of, and later President of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

Many years ago, I was at Runswick Bay in Yorkshire when the Duke of Kent was there with other military bods (doing something - I know not what) and Miss Worsley was around.

Bet that list has changed a dozen times. I think that some of the exclusions will have volunteered as did the PM. As for that woman in California who were the doctors that recommended she didn't travel? Royal ones?

I've not been in the UK for more than 30 years, but if I were ever able to return....then here..

I had some really fabulous times in 'Royal' Tunbridge Wells', what a lovely place...

A friend was just taking some flowers over to Buck House, so I asked her to get some from us. A tiny symbolic gesture I know, but the DofE was one of the very few for whom I have respect. The person to whom she gave them said Charles is insisting himself reading every note.

As we’re aware each Royal has a code for their funeral plans, Prince Philip’s is Forth Bridge, HMQ is London Bridge and Megan Markles is Paris Tunnel :ymdevil: :ymdevil:
When all else fails, read the instructions.

I would really like to have knowledgeable commentary on the military aspects of the procession, with regard to the representation of the units, uniforms, etc.
