I had two epochs at Scone. During the first I was a raw prawn on a Flying Scholarship. To a kidette such as I, all the QFIs had the same surname: "Sir".

In the 1990s I did a lot of flying from there. I remember some of the luminaries such as Tom Leckie-Thomson and Dai Heather-Hayes, but I don't remember a Kinch.
