Sad news indeed! One's thoughts are with KnC.

So sad. My thoughts are with you. I agree with the post. NHS although slow and less than up-to-date for routine matters, were always there in emergencies for my mum and dad and in-laws. Excellent service in A&E.

I thought KnC might appreciate seeing the comments here on a forum that he has not visited for quite some time. I have eceived the following reply and thanks. I have omitted just one small irrelevant part:

Roy,

Thank you for your PM and kindness in inviting me.

I was made aware by Pinky the Pilot, so I had a look.

To be brutally honest, my beloved lady's passing, sudden and unexpected, has rendered me an emotional wreck. Losing family / friends is bad enough but as I said in the morning they were talking about her discharge...

I won't be posting on this site, or elsewhere, for some considerable time. My emotions are drained.

Consequently, could you please post on my behalf. In essence, feel free to adapt here, I have been overwhelmed by the number of condolences I have received . Please pass on my genuine and since gratitude to ALL who have posted.

.... My lady was a former Sister and she would have been impressed with the quality and professionalism of the Sister I mentioned and her ward staff. ....

Kind regards

KnC
